Protective Yacht Ceramic Coatings
Industry-leading, expertly developed organic protective coatings for yachts, superyachts & smaller vessels.
What does a Marine Ceramic Coating do?
PZP Marine Pro Coat is an organic high performance polysilizane-based Yacht Ceramic Coating which has been engineered to seal porous hard substrates such as GRP, paint, glass, metal, vinyl, plastic and anti-fouling.
Once applied, the coating’s self-levelling properties create an extremely smooth, shiny & durable surface which UV rays, dirt, grime, diesel soot and sea salt cannot penetrate and are easily wiped off. The coating vastly increases the lifespan and aesthetic of surfaces on yachts and catamarans, resulting in lower cleaning fees and considerably less downtime.

Stainless Steel Railings
Protects from salt corrosion and salt deposits. Steel no longer requires lengthy polishing, simply a wipe over once docked.
Stainless Steel Anchors & Housing Plates
Protects from salt corrosion and salt deposits. Steel no longer requires lengthy polishing, simply a wipe over once docked.
External & & INternal Glass
Protects from salt deposits & spray. PZP Marine Coat creates a hydrophobic 12H protective layer, meaning water rolls off your windows & shower glass.
Superstructure
Provides up to 2 years' UV & hydrophobic protection for gel coat. Applications of PZP Marine Coat remove the need for regular resprays.
Hull (Above Waterline)
Provides up to 2 years' UV & hydrophobic protection for gel coat from baked-in salt, salt spray & diesel soot ingress. PZP Marine Coat is an organic coating which removes the need for harsh cleaning chemicals to maintain the vessel.
Exhaust outlet
PZP Marine Coat seals porous surfaces like gelcoat to create an impermeable 12H barrier, meaning diesel soot cannot stain and harsh cleaning chemicals are no longer required.

How do a Yacht Ceramic Coatings Work?
All hard substrates contain natural microscopic divots on the surface. Over time, these small holes become embedded with dirt, grime & sun-baked salt which can only be removed by polishing or harsh chemicals.
Poly Protected coatings spread across surfaces, filling in the microscopic imperfections, then self level during the curing process. During the curing process, the coating creates a covalent bond with the surface below. The result is a perfectly smooth mirror finish which is hydrophobic, protects against UV rays and enhances the gloss of any substrate below for a minimum of 2 years.

Yacht Ceramic Coating Application Process
PZP Marine Pro Coat can be applied to all areas above the waterline when the vessel is docked, there is no need to apply in a dry dock. The coating is applied in liquid form via applicators and buffed off with microfibre cloths. The vessel is require to stay stationary for 24 hours after the application allowing the coating to cure to 12H hardness.
Poly Protected Global is committed to a culture of excellence, offering a range of training options for yacht crews and contracted detailers across the globe. This reduces the cost of the removal & application process across the lifetime of the vessel.
